International Relations

In order to improve the training process, the Academy of Public Administration carries out a major activity for establishing and maintaining contacts with similar institutions abroad, international organizations, funds and programs, as well as with foreign organizations with headquarters or branches in Moldova, diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Moldova and the Moldovan diplomatic missions abroad.

Thus, the Academy of Public Administration is working with the National Agency of Civil Servants in Bucharest, Romania; Michael Kogalinceanu University of Iasi, Romania; Regional Training Center for Local Public Administration Northeast Iasi, Romania, Regional Institute of Public Administration in Odessa, Ukraine (2010), School of Public Administration of Latvia, Riga, Latvia, Lithuanian Institute of Public Administration of Vilnius, Lithuania, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Adam Mickiwicz University, Poznan, Poland etc.

The Academy maintains close collaboration with the World Bank, Soros Foundation, UNDP - Moldova, Eurasia Foundation, Information Resource Center U.S. Embassy in Moldova, UNICEF-Moldova, UNFPA, USAID (LGRP), SIDA/ASDI Sweden; TEMPUS Education and Culture, Information and Documentation Office of the Council of Europe, etc.

Special emphasis is given to the international activity of the Academy and on deepening cooperation with the resident diplomatic missions in Moldova. It became a tradition that the heads of diplomatic missions share their experience in the field of public administration and deliver lectures for the students and the trainees of the professional development course of the Academy.

Strengthening international relations continues to be an important tool in achieving the basic tasks of the Academy.
